Hello just recently bought a 1999 328i 5 speed n im having issues.
Main things is my engine start to overheat as soon as I started to run my ac full blast will trying to add refrigerant. Another thing I notice is ambient temp gauge always reads negative 40? Idk if this affects my ac from blowing cold? Thermostat has recently in the last week has been replaced, and I was thinking I could be a sensor not allowing it to open?
1. Will ambient temp sensor effect thermostat from opening? Reason I say this is cause my lower radiator hoes is cold n upper is boiling hot.(which sensors tell thermostat to open?)
2. Will ambient temp sensor effect ac from blowing cold?
So far this is what is causing me the most trouble.
