just picked up a AFE Cold Air Intake stage 1 kit and installed it.
fitment was okay. had to only use the bottom nut and washer to hold the heatshield in place because it wouldn't line up with my stock 10mm air box bolts holes.
anyways, when im in stationary position and rev i hear a very deep growl but when i drive in first, second, third, fourth and fifth gear when i let off the accelerate for 2 second and back on accelerator i hear a high pitch squeal. usaslly happens around 2-3k rpm. sounds like a "Hiss" or like a turbo spooling. people had asked me if i was running a turbo
could it be a air leak from my elbows? the MAF rubber boot had to be forced and squished into the lower elbow boot due to the heatshield
