Engine juddering at idle

Hi folks. Got a 323ci auto 2000 reg. Been driving ok for the last 3-4 months but today the engine has been juddering at idle, lack of power, feels like the gearbox doesn't know which gear to select and the EML light has been on for a while.



Any ideas??
