Hi, need help troubleshooting my convertible top on a 3005 325 CIC. Problem started last year when roof would get stuck opening: it unlocks ok, rear section lifts, trunk cover opens and at this point it needed manual push to finish opening. Later similar issue with closing. Now on opening it unlocks, front portion goes up a few inches and at this point without help it will not go further. The rear section is not lifting. I did not want to force or manually help while bonding the button. No strange noises. Opening light blinks once it's stuck. I can close using the close button.
Not sure if it's the electrical (doesn't sound like it since it's slowly getting worst) or motor itself. I just learned on another thread that these models have hydraulic pump/motor so I may have a tank low. Any help on further troubleshooting or location or the tank and other key parts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
