As the title states I have a full e46 coupe 8 pc. Set. It is in great condition, I've seen some sets for sale and on cars in horrific shape and mine is far from it. The drivers door armrest has minimal as in like three, chips on the rear from the seat belt. And two of the three dash peices have some imperfections at the top which is covered by the dash anyways and unseeable.

MAF error help !
Hey guys so my car has been giving me a very unusual warning lights . The car gives off a EML, DSC, and BRAKE light all at the same time . It will also go into that "limp mode" right after these get triggered . After doing some crazy amount of research I've found out through an old thread that the MAF was giving these codes, so I unplugged the MAF and I've been error free ever since . Regrettably the thread that I found that showed me it was my MAF never revealed how they ever got their MAF to work error free . I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and could shed some light on it for me . Thank you !

NIGHTMARE Dealing With EONON
It seems I did not do enough research before ordering an Eonon nav system. I had seen the group buys and thought they would be reputable since they appear to be supported by the site. Huge mistake!
I received the unit quickly after ordering and installed it a couple of days later. The unit initially prevented me from locking my vehicle. There was an incompatibility with the auto-lights feature. After 10 unreturned phone calls and several emails Eonon finally responded and instructed me to cut a specific wire on the harness they provided. This was incorrect and disabled other functions. :banghead: I had to argue with Eonon for two days to send a replacement harness, which they only agreed to do with the slowest shipping method (10 day wait).
The Navigation function never worked correctly. The unit would find my location if connected through my hotspot but it would not update as you travelled, rendering the function useless. Eonon sent me some files to perform an update which did not fix the unit. Then Eonon stopped responding. I had to initiate a credit card dispute to get them to respond. Unfortunately, the car was also called in for the airbag recall in the time they refused to communicate (i gave them advanced notice) so I could not immediately return the unit. In my opinion Eonon was trying to drag the communications out past 60 days so they could reject my return. At one point they insisted that I could only return the unit if I removed any negative statements I made about them on this forum.
When they finally did agree that the unit was defective and they would allow me to return they insisted I only deserved a partial credit because I used the insurance they added for the defective unit they sent me. :hmm: They argued with me about this for 5 days before finally providing the return label. They also contested my credit card dispute.
In addition to this headache the delays in communicating with Eonon mean I am unable to return the other pieces of hardware I purchased for this installation (HVAC relocation bracket, Nav map, etc). That's roughly $150 for now useless add-ons.
Eonon is an extremely unprofessional company that does not support their products. I am really blown away by this experience. I hope is that this will prevent other e46 enthusiast from making the same mistake I did. :thumbdwn:

After 273,249 miles and 12 years of ownership, I sold my 325i last night.
It was time, because keeping her tip top was getting to be more than a car payment. I wanted to hit 300,000 miles, but it was not to be. I also wanted another 3-series, but it's more than I wanted to pay given my ownership of a more than 100 year old home and the financial surprises that come along with that.
She also didn't get along with the driveway of my garage. Or maybe got along too well, because they were always touching and rubbing against each other, necessitating the need for a vehicle with more ground clearance.
In any case, I want to extend a hearty "thank you" to this forum for all the assistance I have received over the years. I don't know what I would have done without it. I'll be back to BMW in the future, so I'm sure I'll run into you all somewhere.

Vibration 2-3k new everything
So here's the scoop, smashed into a falling rock and it took out my oilpan and subframe so while it was down I replaced and repaired full rear and subframe damage..
Carrier bearing went out shortly after fixing, whole front end is new, and I mean everything, even subframe, went powerflex on suspension parts, ecstuning 70a street poly, and uuc poly mount..
Exhaust cam went out after that...
As you can tell I'm on a losing streak. Now I'm getting a wicked vibration during deceleration that starts 3k and smooths out at 2k.
Could this be the motor/trans mount or am I feeling something else about to go wrong?..
I've never used poly mounts of any kind and here I am. Is my car just breakin them in or is there something else to look into?
I have no fault codes and it just won't ready up for emissions no matter how many times I drive it....
Hope someone can help, all other searches have lead me to no help. It's not the vanos it's not the exhaust hitting, it's not anything I can tell. Wheels are new tires are too (800miles)

Stalls then starts while driving
2002 320i with 296,000km
I noticed today while driving it would cut power to the engine then bump back to life as if it was bump started and continue to drive as normal.
The cluster lights all come on and go off like a regular startup and the radio restarts but remembers presets and the trip meter doesn't reset. Resets scan tool as well when plugged into obd2 port
Leaves no engine codes, no history codes in system.
It was first noticed and duplicated multiple times doing it around 75km/h in 4th but have since happened at other speeds and gears
Once it has cut out and stalled at low speed while doing a U turn.
Will try and get a video of it happening
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey all just wanted to finally say hello! I bought my E46 back in January this year and have been loving it! I got a 2001 330Ci Convertible with 127,500 miles and almost fully loaded. It Came with Sport and Premium Packages, HID headlights, heated seats and headlamp washers, Rain sensor, Navigation and Harman Kardon, i love it! It was a 2 owner car and came with a decent amount of maintenance documents. The previous owner replaced the OFHG, Oil Pan Gasket, Valve Cover Gasket, Control Arms and couple front bushings (dont have documents infront of me) along with some misc vacuum lines and oil lines.
Ive been using this website since day 1 for DIY's and other pointers and wow there is a great community here! Thanks to you guys and my damn love for getting greasy under a car ive so far replaced myself the Oil level sensor, ambient temp sensor, evap purge valve, motor mounts, steering coupler, and most recently the fuel filter and fuel pump. Ive done a couple small mods like tint the windows all around, and put a stubby antenna on but other than that shes stock and will most likely stay like that! Over all im really enjoying the car and hope to continue to knock out some more items i need to get done. For now it drives pretty solid and straight and handles decently for its mileage. I think its ready for some new shock/struts. Also probably ready for some new coils and plugs as i feel a misfire here and there. Ive bought an OBD2 Wifi Dongle and got OBD Fusion so im getting ready to start using it for logging. Recently ive just used it for checking codes.
Before i had an E36, 99 323I Convertible and sold it and moved up to the E46! Wow is the E46 miles ahead of the E36, atleast for the convertible. The glass window and top seems 10x better quality than my E36. I Owned the E36 for about 2 years and before my first Bmw was a 2006 325I (E90). I had a loan on the car and after having it for a little over 1-1/2 years i couldnt afford the payments so i had to sell it. It was a nice car but i definetly love the E46 over the E90, most likely because i own out right and enjoy the vert scene now :thumbsup: Quick pic of the Beauty below and some old snaps of the old Bmws! Just wanted to say hello and a future Thanks to the community for helping me out now and then!

About 4 months ago I sold my daily to a friend of mine, it was an E46 Estoril blue 330d M sport, 6 speed manual, quite a rare car to find in this colour. I had that car for just over 2 years.
Even though I didn't want a saloon anymore I regretted selling the car straight away. What made it worse is that I sold it to a friend of mine and I would see the car every day. I decided I wanted another 330d but this time I wanted a coupe..... I only wanted Estoril blue, had to be manual also.
After looking for some time I finally found the car I wanted
Its an Individual 330CD 2006 model, one of the last ones...Manual, M sport...It has some nice options also...Like Xenons, Heated leather, CD changer and the usual staff
The car has been lowered on coilovers.
It has 19's from the 6 series BMW
The arches have been rolled/flared.
It also had a dtuk tuning box which I must say made the car drive completely different compare to my old 330d, it pulled so much harder.
After I bought the car I done some work to it.
I put 4 new tyres as it had budget ones, they were like new but so noisy! New starter motor
I terra cleaned the engine to improve performance and fuel consumption.
Then few weeks ago the turbo started to whistle :(... I could have left it like that for maybe another year or so but I thought maybe its time to upgrade! :D
I went for a Hybrid Turbo, De Cat, EGR Delete and Custom remap.
The car is now running just over 285+bhp... Please let me know what you guys think when you look at the graph, does it seem alright?
With the tuning box it kind of felt like it pulled harder at 2000rpm to 3000rpm and then started to drop where as now it pulls better from 3000rpm all the way to red line...The power delivery is smother now, I don't know if I like it more or not, its different that's for sure. I kind of miss the crazy tourqe at 2000rpm
I also done few other things while I was waiting for the turbo and other parts.
I fitted Genuine M3 mirrors.
CSL Boot spoiler blended in
Front grill outer trim colour coded
E46 M3 exhaust tips.
Yellow brake calipers.
I just detailed the car also
I'd love to find Champage interior for it but I don't think I will.
I'm not trying to turn this into an M3 replica but I do love the M3 mirrors and csl boot.
I have to keep in mind that its a daily and I shouldn't go too crazy with it.

I'd love to find Champage interior for it but I don't think I will.
I'm not trying to turn this into an M3 replica but I do love the M3 mirrors and csl boot.
I have to keep in mind that its a daily and I shouldn't go too crazy with it.

Touch up paint does not match color
I was wondering if anyone knows how to get in touch with the manufacturer of the BMW touch up paint sticks.
I have the OEM BMW touch up paint that the BMW dealership sells, and used it on a few small chips on my 2002 Steel Grey 325ci. The color is way too dark and is not even a close match.
The color code for my car is Steel Grey 400, and I confirmed that the paint stick is "Stahlgrau 400" made for BMW in germany. So it is the right stuff for sure.
My paint has not faded, and is as good as factory so that's not the issue here.

Looking to part with a set of wheels again. This time they're arc 8 with square specs. Great condition. Yes, these pics aren't great but they'll have to do for now. The wheels will be off the car in the next week or so. Just need to find time to get to the tire shop.

Used BAD e46 m3 trans. 6 speed 6MT. Used to be smg converted to manual. Linkage inside is damaged. Does not go into reverse or 2nd gear. Could be used for bellhousing everyone asks for.

Broadway Static 500s 16k/18k swift springs
Selling my Broadway Static 500s for E46. 16k/18k swift springs with about 4k miles on the coils. 1300 shipped. Missing one copper mounting nut but you can use your oem ones or get a new one from fortune auto. One of the dampening knobs on the front shock is slightly tilted but works fine. Picked up in SF Bay Area for $1200 or shipped for $1300.
