Engine just down on me

I was drivin from my place to anotha place n when i stopped my engine just switched off n it wont come on its just cranks hav tried fastenin terminals wot could be the problem help me guys. What i hav realised is when i leave it for some,minutes it starts bt immediateeli switches off.. Help me
