Hi everyone!
I have become unlucky as a result of a wet weather incident, and my 323i has slid out and the front right wheel hit a curb side on at relatively low speed, causing the wheel to puncture. No other visible damage was done to the car.
I have the spare wheel in at the moment. I have driven the car and have done several tests to ensure that the car was still able to be driven after the incident:
- with the steering wheel held straight, the car drives straight and does not turn.
- there are no vibrations felt through the steering wheel when driving at all speeds
- although this isn't much of an indicator, both front wheels appear to be symmetrical on flat ground
- the car handles and feels as it did before the incident
Should I be worried about things that may not be apparent? I think I will be getting an alignment test done on it when I have time. I'm freaking out because I don't want to be driving the car and possibly worsening the situation.
Cheers!
