e46 idle rpm issue

Hi, Guys.



I'm having a issue with my rpm at idle.

First at all, my car is idling at around 600ish rpm. I have heard this is a little low.

The other thing is that when i press the accelerator pedal the rpm goes up and on its way down just doesnt go smooth back but instead kinda hold for a second between 900 and 1100 .

any suggestions ?
