Hi, Recently I was in a challenge myself fixing my service engine soon codes and threw lots of money fixing the problems to get my car to pass smog. Losing hope, all of a sudden as I am driving, service engine soon light turned off and it has been over 200 miles since it hasn't came back on. I plugged in my scanner and turned on the car running and my confusion is that my scanner said it found 7 codes but when i checked the emission readiness it says "7 monitors ok and 1 incomplete which is the catalyst" and mil status is off because the service engine soon light is not on when car is running. I read somewhere where it would likely pass smog still with 1 just incomplete and my car is 2000 328i. Now here is the other problem now, my traction light comes on flashing while driving causing the dsc pump or abs pump to kick in and it scares me because i can't brake, so i ended up pulling out fuse #61 and now it doesn't do that anymore but the dec light will still come back on fully illuminate after driving a little bit and it stays on. When I restart the car, traction light is off but comes back on after driving a little bit. I took my car to smog and the guy can't dyno the car because of the light being on. My DSC button hasn't work since i've bought the car 2 years ago. I've replace the front right speed sensor because i've got the code read pointing to that direction and also cleaned the front left speed sensor, but problem still persist. So now my question is this, i read somewhere that I can just disconnect one of the speed sensor wire to fully turned off the DSC light? will that work to get the car smog when they dyno it? if i disconnect one of the speed sensor wire, which one do i have to disconnect? just one only? and will it trigger any other lights to come on? I just want to temporalily turned off my DSC without it being turned on when they dyno the car and so i can see if my car will pass smog. Thanks
