Yet another non starting 318

Hi All,



Have a 01 318ci that will not start. Rough running beforehand, cut out twice while driving etc, not a new problem with it, pretty sure I've either a slipped timing chain or need crank/cam sensors replaced. Have tried odb bluetooth but it will not connect properly and show me the fault codes. Have ruled out fuel pump by replacement also btw.



My question, how can I tell the difference or are there any obvious tell tale sign the chain might have slipped?
