So I bought a click type torque wrench (I think it was the 3/8 or the 1/4) from harbor freight. Used it once and a couple (3-5) months later (yesterday), I used it again. Not sure if it's normal, but it is very hard to spin the little adjuster thing. As in, nearly impossible to adjust it to a higher or lower torque settings. I've spun the little black thing on the bottom to unlock it too. It was like this when I bought it and I thought nothing of it seeing as it just came out of the box.
I've used another 1/2 drive click type and it was really easy to adjust. Not sure if the size of the drive matters when it comes to the ease of adjusting the settings.
I don't have the receipt anymore nor do I remember the date I bought it.
Not sure how much it costs to re-calibrate it, but I figured it's much more expensive to do than just to purchase a new one.
