Napa Rear Window Regulator

I just replaced my rear window regulator with a lifetime warranty Napa unit. It is made in Taiwan:facepalm:



I noticed that the cable rubs against the sheetmetal frame and of course induces a noise. Does the BMW also sub like that? I have no basis of comparison because my original unit broke apart.
