Couldn't figure out how to upload vids with the iPhone app so a video of said problem can be found in the link above.
Anyway 05 325ci manual. At idle is sounds like something is engaging for about 5-10 seconds and while whatever it is, is engaged it makes a noise almost like a bearing is on it's way out. The noise seems to be coming from the passenger side of the engine about halfway back. As far as I know it's not the belts or pulleys as I just replaced all of those and again it's not constant but on an interval.
On a side not what the heck is engaging.
On one more side note as you can hear in the end of the video the car at times will rough idle and almost want to **** off unless I give it some gas. I'm sure there could be a myriad of things causing that but any recommended places to check?
