Info on model style/year?

Hello,

I'm new here and have been thinking of buying a 330CI convertible. I have located a few 2005's and a 2006 model. Am I correct in thinking the '06 convertible didn't change in body style? Is it an E46?



Also, this will be my first BMW car. I ride a 2002 R1150RT and love it. What should I look for when inspecting a 330 convert? Are there any bugs or glitches I should be on the lookout for?
