Dead car, good battery???

So 2 days ago I started the car after it had sat for a week. The starter turned over a little slower than usual. Enough to notice, thinking it was bc it sat for a week. 2days later, lights in dash come on, but no deal from starter. Today, totally dead. No light nada. (Btw anyone know how to open the rear hatch of a wagon when power is out?)



Take battery to shop, guy says it works. Guy is shady, take it to next shop. He says it's good. Now I'm like wtf. I'm going to re-connect and give it a jump and see what happens.



Any thoughts?
