New Member - New Problem

Hi, my name is Mike and I would rather have introduced myself as someone who really likes to drive a 2007 335i, but instead I have a problem to discuss. My driver side door failed to lock and I dumbly (is this a word?) pushed down the button. Now the driver side door will not unlock using the remote, button in the car, or key. It just makes a clicking sound. So I am crawling in and out of the passenger side. I even tied to lift the button but it will not stay in place. The other door locks work as intended. Any ideas on how to fix or how to approach the dealer as the car has 90,000 miles? Thank you
