I'm looking for a cheap set of snow tires, and I found these on the classifieds. They are 215/55/R17 Michelin X-Ice snow tires and I was planning on mounting them on my old Style 68s. Will these fit? If they do fit, I'm hoping they will also raise the car a bit so it can clear through snow instead of plowing it. I currently have all seasons on my old rims so would it be advisable to just buy two of these Michelin X-Ice snow tires for the rear, or would that be excessively unsafe? This is for my '01 330ci Sport.
