Just saying Hello

Hi, everyone just joined up, another friend of mine said I should join this form, in order to share my experience with owning my lovely car. It's a 2003 325CI, but it's a M56 model yeah yeah the dreaded 7k to replace a fuel tank when the pump fails, well my friends and I think we might have a fix for that, as we have been collecting parts to swap In a used M3 complete fuel tank, but since my one friend works a place that can make custom line fittings we think we can tap into the factory stainless lines and make a complete retro fit and make a standard fuel system work.. now just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm clueless about cars... I have done some minor upgrades to my car with simple stuff, mostly interior upgrades and suspension. I'll do my best on any information for other m56 owners on this gas tank switch over.... so stay tuned as there's 7 of us in my local euro drivers group that are figuring out when the time comes to replace my poorly Designed fuel system... one of my friends is a mechanical engineering and the other is a aerospace fuel systems tech. So I'm sure will figure this out... well hope to make friends on this form...
