Hi everyone,
I'm dealing with a very small coolant leak that is pissing the :censor: out of me!
Sometime in the begging of September I had the expansion tank replaced. A week and a half later my low coolant light comes on and I was in fact low on coolant because it has leaked.. Everywhere.
So I take it back to the mechanic and he replaced the upper rad hose and that seemed to have fix the majority of the leak. But I am still dealing with a very small leak coming from something around the expansion tank. It's not the bleeder screw and it's not the expansion tank cap, I have check those throughly.
There is a bit of coolant that is just sitting on top of the expansion tank, but also on the plastic piece that covers the bottom of the engine bay, you can see the coolant building up on there. I'm wondering if maybe I've got a problem where the radiator connects to the expansion tank?
Has anyone had the same experiences?
