I know this topic has been beat to death, but I am stumped and in need of some advice.
Ever since pulling my car out of storage in April (it was stored for 10 months), I have been experiencing significant oil loss - 0.5 quarts/2000km (kilometers, NOT miles).
My VCG and OFHG are not leaking. My CCV seems fine (after doing the suction test). My car makes no funny noises and there are no visible leaks in/on the engine, bottom covers, or floor (none that I can see, at least). Moreover, I do not have any blue smoke coming out of the exhaust and my exhaust tips are not black.
The only conclusion I can come to is that the car is consuming it somehow. What can it be specifically? Keep in mind, this only started happening since pulling it out of storage.
FYI - the car is a 2004 325i, stock (~125,000km) and it runs like a champ.
Thanks!
