I am sure some of you know here, but what is the deal with VW's and being able to read their faults/code like we do with the E46's using INPA.
To my understanding a cable is needed called VAG-COM thats runs VCDS software from a company called Ross-Tech.
Now searching on the VW forums.. I see a bunch of results and everyone that talks about getting the eBay cable gets bashed etc and they insist one purchases the $400 cable..
Can someone tell me if this is the case or what? I'm sure one of you e46 fanatics has a VW car out there that used this kind of cable. For me in question I need a cable for a 2009 Tiguan so to my understanding I need the HEX-CAN version of the cable.. as so;
