To start off, the car is a 02 325i Touring, auto.
1) Moonroof, always auto opens. Sometimes auto closes, sometime it closes half way then retreats. I cant find anything in the tracks, and it will close fine if I hold the button, or if I put a small amount of pressure on the glass helping it close. Is there anything I should look at for making this close more reliably?
2)Low oil light, yes it comes on everytime I start the car, not worried about that. But when is it actually supposed to come on? I have been checking the oil level and it dropped to below the "OK" range, and yet the light did not come on. Sensor is probably dead right?
3) Gas filling. I live in Oregon, we dont get to pump are own gas, in fact its "illegal" to (I fill my other car everytime myself...). I have 2 issues. one is that its so very slow to fill, but at my preferred gas station (Chevron), it fills to full. The other issue is that at some stations it wont fill all the way. I had to fill at a 76 station once, and it stopped early and wouldnt finish. The car only had 3/4 tank when I started it. To go further into the problem, I have put 5k miles on the car since buying it, and the Evap readiness check still says "unready", but no light on the dash, and no codes (with a standard OBDII scanner), I am sure there are codes with a more legitimate BMW scanner. Is there anything I should look for to fix this?
I understand spoon feeding new guys gets annoying, and usually I am the one with all the knowledge (admin on another car forum), but as such, I am in the midst of another car project (motor swapping a car where every single system has to be modified), and just am getting burnt out and losing time searching for everything.
And because pictures are always fun, here is a picture of the Turn signal stock opened so I can fix the OBC button wires.
