Emergency help car won't start.

Hey all, I bought a 2003 330i ZHP about a week ago 143k. The car will crank and start but immediately goes into horrible idle and then stalls. Try jump starting it and disconecting the battery . its my first BMW so I don't know what to try. Plz halp
