Hi guys, I have been doing a lot of searching but none of the conditions seems to sound exactly like mine so I would appreciate some help diagnosing my rear suspension noise issue. By searching it seems like it could be RSM's, RTAB's, or at worse sub frame cracking.
For maybe a year now I have been getting a squeak when I go over a speed bump. No noise when accelerating or cornering that I have heard. Only a squeak from going over bumps. In the garage with the parking brake set, when I push down on the trunk I get two noises, a high pitch squeak and a lower pitch creak (almost like a croak). When I release the parking brake and do the same test, the squeak goes away but the creak/croak remains. The sound is only from the driver side. Should I be worried about my sub frame or is it more likely RSM/RTAB? I have Koni FSD's and eibachs sitting in my living room ready to install and I plan to buy some rear shock mounts to install with them. If my sub frame is about to be toast though maybe not a good idea to drop money in the car anymore? Thanks for advice.
