Sound system info

Hey guys,

I need some help. I know about sound systems and what the do, but I'm not the best with them. I've got an 01 325xit with a head unit for an 03. I just want to know what I could do to make the whole system sound better. There is the stick amp it the back, but should I some how keep that and add another, or replace it with a better one for the whole system.
