2001 330Ci Won't start after using OBDII Please Help

Hello all, I assure you I did look around on the forums and did not find an issue of not starting related to an OBDII sensor, so I hope I don't get yelled at for a "repeat post." If I missed it, please point me in the right direction.

Ok, so I recently had a check engine light on and had it serviced at the dealership. They replaced Thermostat and Exhaust Cam Sensor. I needed to get a STAR Smog test, so I had to drive the car around to get everything straightened out on the codes before taking it to get smog tested. I hooked up my OBDII reader, and it showed all clear. Then, it starts idling strange and sputtered out. Now it just makes a noise like it's trying to start but never gets there. Is there any way the tool could have messed something up in the scan?

I checked the fuses, and disconnected the battery, but no change. I checked the OBDII tool again and it still showed as all clear. Any help is appreciated.
