Hey guys! So, I have an AFE Stage II on my E46 M3 (I live in California) and I went for a smog test today and it failed the visual test. I passed all the other tests and failed the visual test because I didn't have certification for the intake. I called AFE and they said they are still working on getting it processed (the guy made no sense over the phone) and suggested to go back to stock and pass that way. I think that's BS, and now I can't pass unless I replace my AFE and go back to stock for the test. I don't find the hassle necessary. Any of you guys heard of this problem and have an alternative solution? Any help would be nice!
