Right when I thought I fixed everything!

ok so here the story, Im not new to BMW my other car is an e92 335i but I've always loved the e46 and wanted an NA commuter.

I bought this 2001 325i from a girl would didn't really know how to treat a car, I probably fixed 20 things on it now all i need is the CEL to go away so i can pass emission. I was getting system too lean codes, MAF, o2 sensor, and misfires on cyl 2 and 4 with fuel cutoff, but it would resolve itself and come back on randomly and the car will literally have no power until u restart it. so what I did to correct it is..

Replaced all 6 plugs OEM spec

replaced coils 2 and 4 (I know I'm cheap)

Replaced MAF

replaced o2 sensors

changed fuel filter

changed oil

cleaned ICV

replaced ALL vacuum lines and inspected intake boot

replaced DISA gasket

Now the car runs much better i drove it for 150 miles on the freeway no CEL and i was loving it, MPG was awesome, it had great power:clap:

all until This morning as i was sitting in my car idling after start up. the damn CEL came on! scanned it thinking it was the lousy system too lean but it ended up being misfire cyl 2 with cutoff, i still drove the car and it still felt fine with me i couldn't really tell if i was running on 5 cyl.

now this is where I need help.

if I replaced both coils and spark plugs on cyl 2 then the next step would be to replace the injector right?

At least thats the sequence with the N54, I'm still new to this platform. If the injector is dead is there a certain code for that ?

when the code says "fuel cutoff" is that just the ECU stopping it from getting flooded with fuel and my injectors are fine?

I also tried clearing the code but it would come back randomly after 40-50 miles. this time car would still drive normal but thanks for any input and god bless
