I replaced the regulator about 6 months ago. Just today I tried rolling down the rear left window in my '02 Touring and nothing happened. I tried from the front window controls and the rear switch for that window. The rear right one works fine. I checked the fuse and that's also fine. But I did notice that when I press the button, about half a second after I hear a really faint click. Is this a bad relay?
The window regulators in this car is driving me crazy. I've already replaced the front one 4 times going on 5 in under a year. Bought a aftermarket regulator and every time it does the same thing. I start getting a bad grinding sound like something is scraping against the inside of the door. Then within a week or two it finally quits. Luckily the regulator has a year warranty on it so the replacement is free. Now it's out again so Rockauto.com is crediting the money instead of replacing it since this part has been such a problem (don't buy Dorman regulators). Gonna have to try a pricier brand and hope it works fine. I've already done the front regulator so many times I feel I can do it blind folded.
