Hello, installed an alarm siren in my 02 m3 and coded it to work with the chinese pasoft or whatever. Beeps fine and clown nose flashes, alarm works.
BUT, It only arms when my hood is open, I don't get a lock confirm when the hood is closed. So I decided I'd replace the hood switch, nothing, same behavior.
Thought I'd coded it incorrectly with the hood open the first time so redid the process with the hood closed, same results.
Think a wire is opposite on the hood switch? This car is super stock and I have every receipt and piece of paper from the previous 40k miles the car has on it so I know it hasn't been messed with.
