Hello everyone, I have just bought my first BMW - 2003 325Ci, and loving it. It makes me appreciate all the fun of driving again! So far I have been working on maintenance and have to date, replaced coolant tank, water pump, thermostat & housing, and all hoses; both drive belts, a full oil change (I had no real idea what oil the previous owner was using), filter housing gasket, vanos hose, dip stick o-ring, valve cover gasket; Air Filter (because the one in the car had a spider living in the bottom of the filter box - this is despite the previous owner having recently paid to have the car "fully" serviced). I have just had the clutch replaced along with diff bushes, and I replaced the front rotors with DBR drilled and slotted Bendix Ultimate pads. I think that's it - and its only been 6 weeks.
There are still a few other areas I would like to address, and apart from the clutch and diff bushes (which thanks to BMW forums like this, suggested this is not a job easily done), I have done all the work myself.
