LCM Assistance

I'm pretty confident that I need a new LCM. Can anyone tell me, if I buy a new LCM and install it myself, am I going to have the mileage issue (the red dot next to the mileage)?



And, if I go with a used LCM, is it difficult to get rid of the mileage problem? What is reasonable to expect to pay to have someone program it away?
