Hello Everyone,
Bought a 2002 M3 Convertible few days ago. No issues until today. I already anticipated some issues haha.
Problem : Rear passenger side window stuck at lowered position. Unable to roll back up.
Possible problems: Regulator, Motor, Switch, GM5?
Symptoms: Click noise when switch is pressed up or down. When pressed down, there's also a light knock noise- almost like the motor is attempting to push it down some more but it's already bottomed out.
Earlier signs of problem: When I was inspecting the car for purchase, I put the top down then back up. When it was all the way up, all the windows closed except the rear passenger side window, it was half way up. I tried to roll it back up but nothing happened so I rolled it down 3 inches then back up and it rolled back up.
Solution? Anyone ever had this problem with their convertible. I searched and don't see many convertible with the rear side windows having problems.
Thanks for the help!
