Guys,
As most of you know I've been tackling a problem with my RLS (rain sensor) over the past few months and I thought last night I'd give it one more go and check fuses and relays. All I did was pull a few fuses and replace them (interior lights, rain sensor, etc...) as well as pull the cover on the relay box in the engine bay and check the Wiper Relay. I ran out of time before I had to take my son to football practice and I left the mirror and clown nose unplugged. Came home to finish up and find that now both my remotes don't unlock the car and the door chime stays on while the door is open without any keys in the ignition?
I tried reprogramming the remotes and it doesn't work. I haven't had a chance to check it for codes/errors with my PC, but what the HELL could cause this? At first I thought - oh man it's my GM5 module going bad, but the interior lock button works fine along with the windows operate normally. This is driving me nuts, what could it be? Also, my alarm (BMW alarm) no longer works cause I can't use the remotes, but I can unlock and lock the car normally with the key in the door.
Any advise is much appreciated!!!!
