Catch Can Time

So my CCV is starting to go bad. Whining in the morning on cold start and a smell of oil when I start in the garage. Loosing a little more oil than I prefer. Im looking to go with a catch can opposed to a new CCV. Sure this may cause even more oil use, but it wont be burnt inside the engine plus the can will catch water and other crap. The Add W1 can looks of good quality. Baffled. For smog tests I can probably just hide the can somewhere
