Yes I do understand business costs such as overhead, insurance, building costs etc etc etc however, should a lawyer really charge near $10000 for representation that uses about $0 in parts and takes a few hours to get through a court case? It is funny how we try to regulate the politician profession but nothing is ever said about the lawyer profession. My friend was a politician and always stated he should of became a lawyer instead for there is nobody watching over them, they charge what they want and take any day off they want. I have to have go to court due to running over a homeless man with my BMW. It's an hour and a half representation and the bill is (drum roll).......$5800 out of my pocket--yup, that's after my parents pick up $4200 of the total bill. Of course I understand that 8 years of college and probably 7.99999999999999999... years of that partying should get you an awesome yearly salary but really...$10000 dollars for legal representation and the entire court case takes an hour and a half. I think not! Lawyers aren't real professionals...one can live without legal representation...politicians bring about change for the greater good of society! Those are the real professionals.
