Ive left my bimmer sitting in the garage since I heard a noise whenever I hit 15mph up until 20mph. Finally found time to get it to the bmw service to have her looked at and I have a blow strut.
Right now im looking at getting the parts bmw suggested I replaced but I wondering as I hit the 200k mark is there anything else I need to take care of suspension wise? Looking online and at oem I found struts for the from with mounts for about $248. Id love to do this myself but I know ill need an alignment soon after. Will I be able to do this at home then drive somewhere to have it aligned? Im happy to answer any questions and welcome all Comments. Im still fairly new to diys and mechanical work in general.
