So about a year ago, the belt on my alternator went and when it did, it tore apart the harness of wires that runs across the front of the engine, connecting to, I believe, many of the 02 sensors, Vanos and Crankshaft position sensors (again, not positive about that the wires all do).
After replacing the belt, I managed to patch the wires together to the point where I got the car running. But since then, I have had a SEL Light on and I am finally sick enough of looking at it that I want to try and fix it (not to mention my inspection is coming up and it won't pass with the SES Light on.
I checked it wth a scanner and it's throwing 8 codes - all related to 02 sensors and Cam Position Sensors. Since I can't imaging 8 sensors all went bad, I'm sure it has to do with the wiring.
Is that entire harness even replaceable (I mean by a DIY)? Has anyone had a similar experience and possible offer some suggestions?
