Hi everyone, hoping some of you can weigh in on my situation. My HPF M3 is at TCDesign at the moment pending a repair and subframe reinforcement. Tony is telling me that I should stay away from solid subframe mounts as that would worsen the effects on the frame from making 600+ horsepower. He also mentioned that the cracking and separation I'm having near my spring mounts is due to a bad spring setup and binding causing road forces to travel to the frame? :hmm:
My question is, what kind of mounts and reinforcements do you turbo guys have done to your cars? what is the duration of the reinforcement and have you had any issues going forward? hoping Marcus and Kenton can chime in since you're both making 1k+ hp :)
I'm being quoted around $2500 for a repair and or $4000 for a repair and back half rollcage that ties into my subframe mounting points... this price is before any mounts.
