Speedo reads 100, 000 Kilometres - but Oil service light shows 236000

Hi Guys,



I have recently purchased a tidy 320i E46 with 100,000 Kilometres on the clock.

However, when I turn on the ignition the display shows "oil service 236,000".

This is making me a bit suspicious as to the actual mileage of the car.

Will someone comment regarding this?

Can I get a computer scan to tell me the actual Kilometres the car has travelled?
