I Brake Hard at any Speed and car grabs too hard

So, I have this issue with my E46. I don't know if it's a warped rotor or something else, everytime I press the brake pedal fast, it causes the front end to shudder one time hard, but if I ease into a brake, there is no problem. This is a new phenomenon and I just wanted some ideas before I get in there. I've been told it could be a dirty caliper. I know the brake pads aren't bad, they still have 60-70% left on them. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!
