I need to get some advice on this please.
I just fitted a new BMW MSport weighted gear lever to my car. Unfortunately, I was a bit careless when I was fitting the new gear lever and I just pushed it down and it went in slightly crooked. I thought that the gear lever would sit into a groove and would automatically line up straight. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
I know that it’s a stupid mistake, but what should I do?
If I remove the new MSport gear lever, the retaining clip will break and it will be permanently loose if it is refitted.
Should I just remove the crooked gear lever and buy a new gear lever?
