Washing a convertible 330Ci

I'm a new BMW owner. I have a ragtop convertible and want to know the best way to wash, or mainly if there are alternatives to hand washing. Can this car go safely through a touch less automated car wash?? Without ruining the top?



I've talked with some people who say yes, and others who say no. Any guidance would be appreciated!!!
