The Retrofit lab?

I am looking to get rid of the boring halogen low beams, and into xenon (4300k preferably) projectors. I've read just about every single guide on here and i have two questions. Has anyone had any luck with retrofitlabs kit? their video makes the upgrade look pretty simple. and second, with all the write ups on the retrofit, i understand how to get the projectors, shrouds, ect into the housing itself, but after all that, how do i hook up the headlights to the car. Im sure with xenons, ill need to hook up ballasts (whats the best spot to mount em?) hopefully without any errors
