Replacing rubber window seals

On my 2001 330ci, some of the rubber seals around the windshield and the rear quarter windows are dried up and disintegrating. I don't have any issue with water leaking, as I don't think they actually "seal" anything, but I'd like to replace them anyways. Has anyone done this? Is it hard to do? My car is currently at the body shop getting prepped for some paint work (not a full respray), is this something that should be done now while the car is in paint, or can it be done easily once I get the car back? Lastly, does anyone have a good source for purchasing those seals? Thanks
