Reddit Question about clearing search bar (history)

So, I usually delete history and use cc cleaner every few days on my MBP to clean it up. Today, I noticed that if I'm on the REDDIT website and I go to search for something, my PRIOR searches will show up. Now, I have tried to reset brower and clear history and nothing seems to work. Any advice? Thank you.
