So basically I passed ofa a phone number from 1 friend to another both of which are shady.
**** hit the fan and one guy said his phone is now hot and so is mine and I should get a new #.
I really don't want a new number I've had it for 10 years and everyone has it. Phone is through rogers and if I sign on to rogers.com under my account I can change numbers ect.
I'm not shady per say but I'm a trades guy and do a lot of side jobs so I don't need anyone looking into my finances too deeply.
Are warrents for phone numbers under the number itself or the owners name? Meaning I would need to switch to someone else's name or get a pay as you go phone as a cash job number?
