Hi All,
I've fitted Powerflex RTABs, Bilstein B4 shocks and Meyle HD RSMs plus all new washers etc to my 330d.
As a bit of background, car had all original OEM parts before and has 190k mileage. The left side shock had failed as well hence the job needed doing as the car was handling terribly.
Since changing the parts, the car handles great and no vibrations either but a noise has appeared at the rear over 20mph+.
If you take the car out of gear the noise remains so it's more of a rolling noise. I can't work out whether it's the tyre noise on the left side (sounds more on the left than right) due to an inbalance of pressure on the road previously or if there is something else wrong with the job I did. Best way of describing the noise is like when wind is buffeting against the car and whistles - unfortunately it's not windy at the moment! If I wind the window down I can't hear anything out the ordinary.
Any help would be spot on!!!
