jury duty

am I the only one that's never gone? over the years I've just tossed the notices without any thought, given nobody can actually prove that I received them to begin with. it's a broken system imho



reason why I bring this up is finally after 3 years in LA I finally got a notice to appear in court that I'm about to do the same. anyone else do the same without consequences? I've read online of bench warrants being issued but seems like a rare case.
