While perusing the latest issue of Roundel magazine I came across a full page add for Schmiedmann, a BMW tuner/parts house out of Denmark. What really caught my attention are theses,

Headers with cats for $725 and about $90 for shipping. Past experience with trying to spoof the ECU or move the O2 sensors out of the exhaust stream on catalyst-less cars has been the lone factor stopping me from going with a set of ebay or bimmerbrakes headers for the last several years on my 330i, and cost has been the limiting factor when it comes to other aftermarket headers like Supersprint that run about $2800 for the catted version.
Now the question(s) Has anyone ever even heard of these guys ? or used any of their products ?
The website states "(Please note in order to make the system fit on 6 speed models - the catalysts has to be moved more to the rear in order to create space for the longer transmission, the pipes for the lengthening is not included in the kit"
So this mean some fab work, am I correct in thinking that pretty much any muffler/exhaust shop could handle the work ?
What about the cats being so far down the pipes and away from the factory, next to the head location, will this present a problem with the cats getting up to operating temp and working as intended ?
